One more about #99, it looks awesome on the website, that's what I wanted too, but in real is very bright. #64 I use is very similar to the color scarlet on the web, but more dark and has cranberry color in it (great for yellow undertones).

I was looking for a red eyeshadow, and personally I think that #99 and #132 are better for a light blondes. Those are cold colors. I tried them at store and I looked off. than I tried #64 Crimson and that's right color for brown eyes and hair. looks awesome, warm color. By itself looks dark plum, but when applied and with eyeliner looks bold and sexy.

Red #99 is incredible! I believe it would look great on you. I am fair to light, but I have yellow and golden undertones too and it is one of my best looking shadows. It won't disappoint you.

Try going for something dark with a more purple-blue undertone. Darker colors can be work with deeper hued skin and it looks amazing. Just try to stay away from orangy reds, they work better for pink undertoned skin.

Question
intensity
i just bought yellow 2 (002) today and this is my first experience with MUFE. i applied three layers over foundation and i still can't get the color depth to increase. i even tried wetting a brush and all it did was crust over in the pan, which never happens with other brands i use. i refuse to use a primer and don't even own one.

how can i get this color to really pop off my face as though it were as bold as eyeliner? please help ASAP - i need it for tomorrow. thanks!

Have you tried using an eyeliner pencil instead of the traditional brush? I haven't used the yellow yet. I have used the gold eyeliner and it stood out easily. You may want to check to see if there is a yellow eyeliner. If not, look for the eyeliner brush or angle brush. Your foundation (especially if it is liquid), may be soaking the color in with your skin. I use press powder or powder foundation.

You can always trying using concealer as a primer under it or possibly using a cream shadow first then using your eyeshadow on top.

Try applying it over a white eyeliner. Also I wouldn't wet eyeshadows unless they explicitly state that it's a wet/dry product.

never let anybody tell you that you are only suppose to wear one specific colour, anybody with any colour of eyes can wear any colour.
however if you want your eyes to pop id suggest to go for gold tones.

i suggest the turquoise. it would be a great color for you, use it with a primer, if u are looking for day makeup, use lots of it, but not all over the lid, maybe under your eye, or as regular shadow, or just dots on the end of the eyes...

Question
Help choosing some new eyeshadows
Hi - I would love to try this line and am looking for some input on eye colors. I have medium highlighted blonde hair, green/hazel eyes, light/med skin (that used to be medium with olive when I was tanned living in california). My skin tone has really changed (lightened and also added some sun spots on my cheeks where I would otherwise try to highlight the cheekbone) with location change and age (31). I would like a set of colors for a neutral yet eye enhancing day look that can then be played up with the other color selections when I feel like it. My eyes are on the small side and are almost almond shaped with not much of a lid to work with. I'd love some help if you don't mind.

I have similar colouring, hair colour and eye colour. For a nice neutral day look, I use Eye Shadow#164 (Light Brown) and Blush #36 (Peach). Great staying power and beautiful matte pigment.

any of the black or gray colors really bring out the flecks of green in our eyes a but a green color would bring out the blue flecks. just becareful not to get a color tooo dark such as a deep brown it would make the rest of ur complections a tad paler

While I don't have your exact coloring, my teenage daughter does, and her eyes are almond shaped too. I thought Make Up For Ever's khaki-gray colored shadow #84 looked really nice on her. It makes hazel eyes "pop". You can use it as a liner or lid shadow for 2 different looks, and it emphasizes with out looking too harsh. Test it out!

If you have normal to dry skin, regular primer will work fine, but if you have oily skin (like me), it is better to use an eyeshadow primer. It lasts longer and is harder to break down. I use Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer and it is lovely and Smashbox's photofinish eye primer is lovely as well. I think UD is better, but I haven't used SB's that much. (Sample product.) Hope this helps.

Definitely go with a primer. Some prefer foundation as a primer others prefer a named primer. Whatever works best for your skin. But definitely use a primer.

its very easy idk why they told you to poke out the bottom there is no need to. When you open up the compact that the shadow comes in just take your nail/finger and just push up against the pan and up and it should come out easily or I sort or open the packaging and turn it up side down and hit the black area/edge of where the shadow is near with my palm and it usually just falls out with out any damage to the shadow .

Find a side where the metal is sticking up more than the rest and try pulling it up there. Also, it's great if you have fingernails; it grips the sides better.

If you remove the sticker on the back of the individual shadow case, there is a little hole and you just need to gently push a pen or toothpick through it to pop out the eyeshadow (it's held in by a magnet)

I am 15 years old, I have blond/light brown hair, blue eyes, and light freckles. I have light to medium skin, probably more on the light side, but not too fair. Which eyeshadow colors would look best on me? Thanks! :)

I'm also a blonde, with blue eyes, and fair skin. The best color for blue eyes are browns. Don't go for blue colors, because they will make your eyes all bland. Purples also make blue eyes pop.

On the color wheel, orange is opposite blue. If you want your eye color to really stand out then orangy tones would look good.
But since you are fair skinned perhaps going an orangy gold color on your eyes would be better.
I would try softer colors for the fair skin and blonde hair.
Also if you have like a yellowish tone on your skin then I would go with warmer colors.
If you have a pinkish tone on your skin, I would go with cooler colors.
Hope this helps.

Yes, they still make it. It's a very popular color so it gets sold out quickly which is probably why you've had trouble finding it. It's an awesome color!

No, shimmer and glitter are different. Shimmer is more sheer and is the lighter form of glitter. Glitter is very obvious and can get messy, whereas shimmer is toned down and very cute! (In my opinion.)

Have you tried the Diamond Shadows that MUFE makes? They have a shimmer and go on lighter in my opinion. Maybe some of the lighter shades in the matte colors would suite you as well. Good luck!
