I tried both the High Beam and the Moon Beam in a Sephora store and I thought that the Moon Beam was a little more noticeable than the High Beam and I have very fair skin. I also thought that the color of the Moon Beam was prettier (it is iridescent and the High Beam in a shimmery pink color). The High Beam is supposed to make the skin look dewy while the Moon Beam is supposed to add a highlighting sheen to your face.

I have light skin, so I use moon beam more often because it has that pinkish iridescent glow. It's subtle. Whereas high beam is more shimmery and more noticeable.

Moon Beam is much more golden in color and High Beam is shimmery but more pink than any other color. I guess it just depends on your mood which one you want to use!!

It can be used on your eyes or lips, but I wouldn't use it as an eyeshadow or lip color just a highlighter on your cupid's bow or brow bone or inner eye corners.

Yes, you can apply it to your eyes and it will give you a nice glow. It would be more for a natural look if you were to apply it as an eyeshadow. Just make sure you put concealer on your eyelids first to get rid of any discoloration - that way the Moon Beam will look better on your eyelids.

As for a lipgloss - I would not recommend it. If anything, apply a drop to the middle of your lip (after apply any color lipstick or gloss). It will make your mouth appear fuller.

I hope I could help!

Oops, brainfart, Its made out of glass (sorry!). But It doesn't seem like it'd break; I've dropped mine 4 feet onto cement and it was fine, lol.

I am over 58. My skin is med, with a yellow undercast. I use the moon beam.It gives just the hint of a highlighter for me. I have used the high beam but to me,it looks like I have a light blub turned on in my face. If u really want brightness, use high beam, but if u just want a hint of highlight use moon beam. I am fairly new to Benefit but I have found most of their cosmetics I use and really like.

The difference between high beam and moon beam is the color; moonbeam has more of a gold highlight to it. You would apply this anywhere on the face that you want a dewy glow. I love to wear it under my brow bones, on my cheek bones, down the center of my nose, and right above my lips. This product gives you the perfect amount of glow and it also helps to define your bone structure.

When I apply this product I either use a foundation brush or I simply rub it in with my fingers. Sometimes your fingers are your best tools.

They both highlight the cheek bones beautifully. If you have more of a deep olive skin tone then I would use Moon Beam, If you have a more fair complexion then use High Beam, they are both amazing!

Question
High Beam or Moon Beam?
I have fair skin (not ghostly pale though), some freckles (not a whole lot), reddish-brown hair, and blue-ish, grey-ish, green-ish eyes. I've been looking for a luminizer for a while now and I really like Benefit's products, so I want to know more about the two "Beams".
From what I've heard, this one is more subtle, while High-Beam is pinker. If it helps, my skin tone is a little weird and kind of goes either way as far as pink/gold undertones. I'm leaning towards Moon Beam because I don't want it to be REALLY obvious, and I like the idea of a more golden color as opposed to a pinker, more silvery color, but I've also read that it's not at all noticeable from a few people, and I"m worried it'll look weird on my fair skin.
Could someone tell me how your experience was with this? Which of these two products is better for me? Is it worth the money?
Thanks!

With your fair skin tone I would recommend High Beam. This color is gorgeous. The simmer is meant to be subtle but then the light hits you right, you can really see it. Apply it to your cheek bones and the bridge of your nose and you will get the perfect dewy summer look. I also love to wear it out at night, it's the perfect “supermodel in a bottle”.
