As the other person said, they do offer this in vanilla and lavender. Most people dont know that because sephora doesnt carry it. I got it from some other online retailer.

As of today 01/30/11, you can purchase the following flavors (not all available on Sephora, but hopefully soon) : Lemon & Chamomile (yellow stripe on label) / Vanilla & Lavender (lavender stripe) / Natural Mint & Shea Butter (green stripe) / Black Tea & Blackberry (purple stripe) / Grapefruit & Ginger (light orange stripe). The company USED to make/sell an Acai Berry & Vanilla flavor, but I cannot find a site that still sells it.

Yes they do carry it. I bought the lip balm in a trio-pack which includes the original mint, lemon and vanilla and lavender. All are great!!! But i love the tingling sensation from the mint.

Actually, Jack Black makes an acai berry and vanilla and a lavender and vanilla, but Sephora doesn't carry them. Unfortunately!

It has been one of the best products that I have used to heal my lips.

My lips used to get really dry at wintertime - they flack, they split, they bleed. Since I start using Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm my lips feel soft and hydrated all the time.

I use this more for "maintenance" (apply every night before bed) and I never have chapped lips. It has great moisturizers, so I think it would work well for chapped lips. It DEFINITELY doesn't make lips worse or need to be re-applied constantly like Chapstick and other products.

This will do the trick. I am so thankful for this product. No more dry, lined lips. Use it for a week...it's amazing. I'll never be without it.

This definitely heals dry lips. I had the problem that when I was using other stuff when it wore off my lips were just as bad. This stuff WORKS! It heals and keeps my lips soft and smooth

If you sleep with this product on your lips overnight, you should be totally hydrated the next day. Regular use = beautiful, full lips.

i personally feel like this one HEALS dry lips.. but the thing is.. it makes my lips feel SO MOIST.. i tend to forget to apply more when sometimes i do need that moisture just to keep my lips LOOKING moist.. but of all the lip balms this one definitely is the best for me in terms of feeling/healing

It has really been helping heal mine! I put it on right before bed and I wake up with soft lips. I have noticed a significant reduction in peeling.

I generally don't have sensitive skin/lips, and I DID have a bad reaction to all of the different flavors of this balm (I stubbornly tried every kind in the gift set, and was sorely disappointed). I think it may have to do with the chemical sunscreen in the product--sometimes sunscreens can hurt my face when they get wet. I don't know what else would be irritating, since the other ingredients are all pretty basic and benign.

If this causes you problems like it did for me, I would recommend using the Lavanila Healthy Lip Screen SPF 30. It it also natural, and uses physical rather chemical sunblocks, which can be less irritating.

I think this would be a great alternative to any regular lip balm. It is soothing, natural, and keeps lips hydrated.

I'm on accutane and this lipbalm doesn't even irritate my lips, even though most other balms give me BLISTERS. I'd say it's definitely worth a try, and if you react Sephora has an understanding refund policy.

I think it would be a good idea to check with your dermatologist. The only way to know is to find out what causes your allergic reaction and see if that ingredient is contained in the product.

This lip balm will help relieve chapped lips, and keep them soft. Very nice that it contains no petrolatum or mineral oil. Moisturizes with shea butter and avocado oil. One friend of mine who swears by petroleum jelly as a lip conditioner really liked the Jack Black lip balm when I gave it as a gift. If you anticipate the mint as too aggravating, try the lemon-chamomile. If you can get to a Sephora store, have them create you a sample to try for a few days before you purchase. The "sample" aspect of Sephora puts them ahead of the pack.

well it does have fragrance and flavor to it. I think its the amount of ingrediants that probably flares your allergies. I would not chance it.

I have really sensitive lips too and I've had no problem at all with this lip balm. I found it to be very soothing. I definitely think you should give it a try.

I had that problem also, but I did not have a reaction with this product. That's why I like it so much.

This product might irritate your skin if you are having trouble with allergic reactions... if the only thing you can use is vaseline you could try mixing different things with vaseline such as a drop of vanilla essential oil or any scent that you like... you can even color by mixing in a little bit of powdered blush to make the vaseline tinted...its worth a try, and it is an easy way to make cheap lip gloss and spice up the old stuff!

Yeah I would think so. I would do the lip balm first bc its thicker and the gloss over it. The only thing I could see being a problem would be the taste. Bc the balm has a VERY lemon slushie smell. And the venmon has a cinnomin smell. But you never know you mite like it.

I would put the lip venom on first because it needs to sink into your skin to work, and applying something else on first would block its effects.

I use this product with a Philosophy plumping gloss and it was fine. I put this on then a few dots of gloss.

Buy it and find out. If you have problems, return it and get your money back. No harm in trying. Or get a sample. I find it quite smooth and soothing and its a fav product of mine.

I have the same problem in the winter... the only thing that can gets me though the winter is carmex. It heals the lips and works quickly. I buy 5-6 tubes and have them all over my house just in case I feel the dryness coming. No other lip balm heals like carmex

I dont think this product will help. It just keeps your lips moist. Try pure shea butter. Good luck. I pick my lips and hate they way the look once I have tortured them, so I can imagine your lip frustration.

idk if it will help or not. But it has the thickness of carmex but last much longer then it. It deff helps mine when they split open. Its worth a try.

In my opinion, I am not sure this product would help much for your situation. I have read that methol and mint type chapsticks can be irritating to skin.... i mean its worth a try since its only 7.50 but the cooling sensation might make chapped lips worse.

I have super sensitive lips and purchased this for a trip to Mexico...the last time i was on a beach vacation my lips got sunburned and really swollen from the sun, wind & saltwater. I was worried to put anything on my lips with sunscreen bc normally it really dries them out and makes them raw. I didnt have ANY problems with Jack Black Lip Balm...it is all natural and super soothing. It does have a really high spf, but i guess the other ingredients are so pure and natural that it didnt make a difference on my lips. I HIGHLY recommend this product...I use it every day now. Also, if you haven't tried Burt's Bees, their medicated lip balm is awesome, too. It doesn't contain sunscreen.

Have you tried the Jack Black Lemon Chamomile Lip Balm? They call it "intense therapy" right on the tube. Perhaps you could try it and if you have a good reaction try using it as a base for lipstick or gloss.

Yeah I got mine in a kit and was going to give it to my husband but decided to keep it for myself. Theres nothing "manly" about it that a women wouldnt ware it. That gos for all the products by jack black. Its a WONDERFUL lip balm. thought it was kinda dumb to spend $7 on it when chapstick it like a dollar but it has deff proved its worth.

This product is an excellent product for both men and women. I bought this product for my 14 year old son and he loves it. It keeps his lips moisturized without being greasy.

I'm a woman, and I swear, this is the best lipbalm I've ever tried.
As for the texture, I can't really comment on it because that's really a preferance- but it's moisturizing, and works better than medicated blistex on a chapped lips. It feels tad like vaseline, without being sticky, or feeling greasy. I love lip products so I've tried on many famous brands with great reviews(I.E:Burts bee, Ecos lipbalm,Body shop lipbalms, Benefit lipbalm) but I consider this to be BEST lipbalm I've ever tried.I know it's not the cheapest lip product out there, but considering the quality, I think it's worth every penny. I highly recommand it to both men and woman.

I've never noticed any color or filminess. It's never sticky and stays soft until it eventually wears off, and there's no residue left behind.

I wouldn't call it glossy at all. It leaves a slight sheen, but that fades pretty quickly. It won't replace a lipgloss. I use it at night, but I wouldn't use it to replace my lipgloss/lipstick.

Yes but not as extreme. If you glob it on, of course it'll be shiny but it you just put a bit on, then it's not shiny at all really.

It does leave a slight gloss behind (nothing no way as near as shiny as vaseline). But I like the little gloss b/c I'm a girl lol! A shiver comparable to carmax

The shine depends on how heavily you apply it. A thin layer doesn't have much shine at all. A thick layer definitely looks moist, but it is still not as shiny as vaseline. And if you blot it a little bit with your finger, it will cut down on the shine quite a bit.

I don't think it looks glossy on your lips, but there is a slight shine that makes your lips look really supple without looking oily or sticky.

It's really not that big, but you don't need to use much product. It's maybe half the size of a "normal" tube. I find it to be a perfect size.

I think it's a good size, because a little goes a long way. If you use extra then the amount your lips need...it's kinda useless. You lips can only absorb so much!

I buy the original Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 and it lasts me about 8 months. I just squeeze a tiny amount out (a little goes a LONG way), and apply to my lips. Use about the size of a ballpoint pen tip. You will find that is all you need, unless you do something to remove it, like kissing or eating. I don't like to use too much and will wipe some off if I over apply because it will feel like a heavy lip mask if you use too much. Shea butter and avocado oil work differently than other products so I had to get used to the difference in application of the product.
I am quite addicted to this product and if I do not use it every day (1-3 times a day) my lips become chapped because I live in a desert, but with this balm, they stay smooth. I haven't found anything else that works as well. Actually, other products seem to make my lips worse. This is a godsend, and I'm not even a guy.

I believe that this does come in a larger size, but they're alot more expensive and aren't very common in local Sephoras. Try the jack black website for more information.

It may be small but definitely lasts me a few weeks. I have lips that constantly become dry but with constant use there is less of a need to reapply.

i actually think its a great size for someone who has never tried anyything sephora has to offer and the price wasnt too bad to mee for a man's product. it fits in his pocket well so i dont have to stash it for him in my purse. i really really love this product and everything about it.

i agree, it's a wonderful product and i'd love to have it in a bigger size because i'm one of those people who puts on lip balm constantly just because i like the feeling of it on haha. you're better off going to jack black's official product website to leave this suggestion though :)

I find every "flavor" with the exception of the Shea Butter one overwhelmingly fragranced. I ended up throwing away several tubes that came in a gift set because wearing them felt like gargling perfume, and I'm not even exaggerating. I am somewhat sensitive to fragrances, but I rarely have a problem with a lip product. To be clear, it's not about liking or disliking the FLAVOR of the balm, it's about that woozy, suffocating sensation that I associate with overpowering synthetic fragrances, and for me, all of the flavors (except for Shea Butter) triggered that sensation so badly it was unbearable.

I have tried the lemon, mango, mint and regular shea butter. They do have a scent, but I do not find it too strong and I feel like it disipates the longer I have it on. There is no taste though.

I use the vanilla lavender scent - it don't find it to be overpowering. I also don't feel like I am "tasting" it all the time either which is nice.

no, it's not overwhelming at all. And with this product, I find I don't need to lather it on. A little bit goes a long way. The scent is perfect.

I haven't found the scent to be overpowering at all. I typically am also very sensitive to scents and I find that the sent of this lip balm is faint however I only have the black tea and blackberry and the grapefruit and ginger.

Its strong once you put it on but within 1 to 2 minutes you cant really smell it anymore.
