Yes. It's very waterproof. It can be worn in a pool or even when you're having a good cry. It doesn't flake or smudge either. There's not even a trace under the lower lashes. This is the best stuff by far.
I absolutely Must have waterproof mascara & I have tried many of them. This one works better than any of the ones I have ever tried.
Plus, it actually separates, condition & lengthens your lashes.

L'Extreme comes in both regular and waterproof versions, although I have found most of the Lancome regular mascaras to be water resistant.

Just simple makeup remover wipes work great. You have to go over them a few times so that you don't put too much pressure on your lashes but you should be doing it that way anyhow.

Over the years, I have tried many different mascaras. I have, in that time, decided that Lancome is the best - no matter what type.
However, to me, L'Extreme Waterproof is The best. It separates, lengthens & stays in place. It doesn't smudge or flake; there are no remnants under the bottom lashes. It's okay to use in a pool or even in a crying spell. I know; when I lost my cat, I cried for what seemed like forever. This stuff really Does work.

I would personally purchase something else, if you don't want clumps, the lengthening mascaras will be less likely to do so. If you find something with a great wand you can really get any type of look out of it. Start with less expensive and work your way up if you aren't happy with those products.

I couldn't find it in brown on Sephora. I had to go to lancome-usa in order to find it. I hope that Sephora will have it soon though. I get Christmas gift cards every year. :)

Has anyone else had an allergic reaction to this product?
I recently got hives every time I wore this but I've been wearing it for years. Did they change the formula? Or could it be one of the ingredients that I recently developed sensitivity to?

Don't know if they changed the formula as this is the first time I have used this mascara. If I develop a headache, then believe it or not, it will be from a mascara...also if there is a "sweet" smell to it, then I will usually get a headache and no longer use that product.

Yes! As much as I love Definicils, when they ran out of stock, I tried this one. It is Oh so much better, While the other is very good for separating lashs, this one adds length as well.
