Fresh recommends that you use it twice a week. I use it twice a week and it's perfect. On alternative days I use an exfoliant and a deep cleanse mask once a week. You don't want to over use a particular product on your face. If you don't need to use an exfoliate and deep cleansing mask I recommend a gentle cleanser for the days you are not using the rose mask.

I would like to use this once a day, but I don't always because it can dry the skin out. It really made a difference on my skin. Before I bought this, I tried a sample from the store. It really helps with my blemishes and believe it or not, but it actually minimizes my pores within one usage! It can take a few uses to notice it.

I've been using this for about 2 years now, on and off. At one time it did irritate my skin but I think that was because I had super dry skin that I wasn't treating (it was also winter). But I kept using it and the irritation went away. I think it is best to use this about 3 times a week. It is expensive but it made a big difference in my skin. I don't like big pores!

So try a sample before buying a full size. It is expensive!

Yes, it's a gel - I'd say about 50% of it gets absorbed into your skin so by the time you're ready to take it off, there's a very fine film to simply rinse off with ease.

My skin is fairly sensitive, and I have had great results with this mask. The ingredients are mostly natural, and rose and aloe (two of the main ingredients) are both great for soothing redness and irritation. I think it's a great mask for sensitive skin folks.

You may want to start off with using it only once a week for a shorter amount of time (only leave on for 5 minutes or so) to see how it works out for your skin.

Question
I'm looking for the best mask, is this it?
I am 14, but have very oily and acne prone skin. I'm looking for a mask that I can use around once a week that isn't too expensive and helps to rejuvinate my skin without making it look "shiny" as well as help my eyes because I have naturally dark circles and seem to always have puffed up eyes. Would this mask be right for me or is there another one I should look at? Any comments are helpful. Thanks!

It may help with acne, but I would not use it on the eyes without a quick test first. It stings a little if it gets too close to my eyes. But that is me. Could work for others differently.
Research dark circle solutions before purchase and compare them with the ingredients here.

If you suffer from acne, I would suggest the DDF sulfur mask. It has worked miracles clearing up my acne, and I also use it as an over night spot treatment. This wouldn't hurt to use either, just maybe help with soothing your skin, but won't treat the acne. Neither one of these are going to be something you would want to put under your eye area to treat dark circles or puffiness. Instead, try an eye cream. I personally use Aveda Green Science FIrming Eye Cream, it addresses all those concerns, and is all natural. But I'm sure someone at Sephora can make you a sample of both the DDF Sulfur Mask and an eye cream so you can try it out before you use it. Hope this helps!! :) good luck!

I would recommend this soothing mask. Place the jar in the refrigerator when you’re storing it to make for a refreshing treat for your tender skin. Only use once a week to avoid irritation and slather on lots of quality moisture afterwards. The cooling of the mask will aid in your black circles, as well. Just be sure to save your money and refrain from investing too much into your face right now to avoid further irritation and possible scaring.

Try the Umbrian Clay Face Treatment as a mask. It's detoxifying and purifying, plus can be used as a spot treatment to reduce redness and swelling, or mixed in with your cleanser. For an added boost, use the Umbrian Clay mask first, let it dry, then layer on the Rose Face Mask. Leave it on for as long as you want then rinse. It contains aloe vera and cucumber, which are both soothing and calming, great for sensitive or unbalanced skin. Your skin will be purified (Umbrian Clay reduces oil and blemish causing bacteria), hydrated, and bright!

This is not what I would recommend for your skin. You would want to try a clay-based mask for purifying, de-congesting the skin. I recommend a basic clay/mud mask, all-natural, like Kiss My Face makes. It's very inexpensive as well. Your eyes may be irritated by strong chemical ingredients, so stick to natural products. A mask won't help dark circles. Find an eye cream with vitamin k to get rid of dark circles - again, one of the natural brands at the drugstore should have one. I know St Ives makes a vit K eye cream.

I think this is a great mask of a dry, to normal skin looking to work on radiance... and moisture.
However, if the skin is prone to acne not sure if this is the right product.
Because it has aloe and cucumber it would help heal and moisturize your skin, but acne is a problem that needs an intense treatment.
I would look for another product along the FRESH line to treat the acne and would use this mask as a final touch.

I apply it thinly to my face and leave it on for 10 minutes or so. When I'm just home doing housework I sometimes forget it's even on and it stays on for an hour or so. I rinse it off with lukewarm water whenever I'm ready. It's a hydrating masque so you can use it as often as you choose. It's gentle to your skin so daily would be acceptable if you want to.

The particulars for any product aren’t ever as complicated (or important) as they seem. I have dry, sensitive skin so I can’t wash my face, do a mask, and then wash again, etc. What I would recommend for any mask application would be to exfoliate, apply mask, rinse, pack with moister, and then SLEEP!

1) GENTLY exfoliate with a teaspoon of baking soda and warm water. Using a soft face cloth, simply make a paste with the soda and water and very gently scrub your face using a circular motion, (no need to wash your face before- maybe gentle make up remover if you have any product on- but the exfoliant and mask will cleanse sufficiently).
2) Apply your mask to your level or satisfaction. Let sit according to the products directions and then gently rinse with warm water.
3) PACK your face with high quality moisturizer and head to bed.

Apply 2-3 times a week (when you have the time) and give the product 2 weeks before expecting visible results, but the wait is totally worth it!!
