can this be used on SENSITIVE SKIN?
I HAVE EXTREMELY SENSITIVE SKIN. I am on medciations which made my skin quite thin and delicate (steroids). This is an AWFUL side effect which happens after using steroids for a while, and for me it took 5 yrs to change the quality of my skin. For example, I used to ise a potent glycolic acid peel which sephora sells that is AWESOME. But now, if i were to use it I would wind up witha 2nd degree burn. (Thta happened, actually). I still need to exfolliate. Currently I use Kate Sommerville gentle scrub, but the tube is so small for the value. I also use Philosophy's exfolliating scrub which I use in bewenn my using ther Purity.BUT, I HAVEHEAD SUCH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT BY FRESH, ANDWAS HOPING IT COULDBE FOR ME??? I UISE A LOT OF OTHER PRODUCTS BY FRESH AND I LOVE THEM. CAN THIS BE USED ON SOMEONE WITH ULTRA THIN, FRAGILE, AND SENSITIVE SKIN? I CAN EXFOLLIATE, AS LONG AS ITS NOT TOO HARSH. I'M HOPING THIS FITS THE BILL FOR ME. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ANSWERS. : )

The entire Fresh line is great for sensitive skin as it is made without a lot of other things that are found in skincare that is more harsh. Fresh doesn't use sulfate or parabens. I have sensitive skin and im so happy I discovered this product because it truly works wonders
I'd recommend skipping it, I have the same issue you have and purchased this thinking that if I use it super gently I should be fine, unfortunately I wasn't. Like I barely rubbed it on my wet face and my skin flared up red and now I have a broken capillary on my cheek. This product taught me that my skin is far far far too sensitive for manual exfoliators :( which sucks because, it smells wonderful and did make my skin soft, despite the redness and vein on my cheek.
I feel like it should be fine. The harshest thing in the ingredients would be natural acidity from the strawberry, the scrubbing part in itself is very mellow. And right after exfoliating when you leave it on for 5-10 minutes the moisture heals immediately.

yes you can use it on sensitive skin, just add water to your hands first and use sparingly, add more water if too harsh. it's like honey and sugar texture. I have sensitive skin also and have no problem with it.

For extremely sensitive skin, I personally would skip this scrub. I love this product, but I have more resilient skin, and the large granules are still quite abrasive if I accidentally overdo it. I would totally recommend the Clarisonic Mia 2, with the lower setting, and the special 'delicate' brush if you want a nice and gentle exfoliation! Good luck!
