ive worn it under lipstick and i find that it helps smooth my lips for more even lipstick. doesnt make much difference to the lasting of the lipstick in my opinion. i dont tend to wear much lipstick to work though, so i will wear it alone there all the time.

This has an extremely long ingredient list, but it does have wheat and soy in it for those of you who have allergies to those. I am now returning the product because of this. I wish Sephora would list ingredients for all products, especially lip products that contain gluten.

Honestly, I think that this product is not a particularly effective anti-aging lip product. I love Clinique, but this one was a big clunker for me. A glorified lip balm, and for my lips it even made them flaky. I kept trying to like it, but it just didn't work for me.

It really doesn't help to define the lip contour but it definitely helps to moisturize the lips. I use it a lot when I travel especially in drier climates.

I use it as a treatment & leave it on a bit to work. after a while, I wipe off most that hasn't absorbed & then apply lip pencil - that way it doesn't make the lipstick bleed. I'm pretty sure lipstick would bleed if you apply lipstick right on top of this product.

Question
Can you apply this more than twice a day?
It says on the package to apply twice a day AM and PM, is there a particular reason for this? This really helps my lips and I like to have lip balm on my lips pretty much at all times, but I am just wondering if it will do more harm than good if I keep reapplying?

Yes. I'm on accutane for my skin and my lips are dry beyond belief. I have found that this is the best portable product to use during the day. I use this multiple times a day, and have for the past 4 months. Ive gone through several tubes. More $$ than I would like to admit has been spent on chapstick but this one is worth it.

answer 3
I've used this for more than 5 years, often taking a week off every few months as I find it can become fairly drying. It's basicly silicone, I believe, and while it does make lips beautifully fuller over time, it does need to be used with good moisturizing lip balms, at least in my experience. I'd imagine that using it regularly more than just twice a day would make it much more drying without any additional benefits.

Hi agoups, you can definitely apply this more than just twice a day! That's just the suggested use, however, you can apply liberally if your lips are more chapped than normal!
