I put it one slightly heavy right before bed, then in the morning i use a toothbrush to gently exfoliate my lips. Later, if I know I won't be eating or speaking anytime soon, I'll apply a light coat as I would my regular lip balm.

I've used it maybe 3-4 times since I bought it yesterday, and the results are already so pleasantly dramatic! This product ABSOLUTELY WORKS.

Use this product as a primer to smooth lips before applying lip makeup. It is not a balm, so you do need to use some type of lip moisturizer over it.

I use this product on my upper lip and the skin above my upper lip. The fine lines above my upper lip have all but disappeared. I don't consider this product a good lip conditioning product. The skin on my lips still require a lip moisturizing balm. There are a ton of lip moisturizers out there, but I have never used a product that got rid of the fine lines just above the skin on the lips. I use this product day and night.

You can use it throughout the day as a lip balm. I personally use it at night before I sleep, as I use another lip balm during the day. Since the lip balm that I use during the day is glossy and sticky, i didn't want to use it when i go to bed, so i use this product. I like the fact that this product has no scent and it is non sticky, so I sleep comfortably with it. I hope this helps :)

I put a small amount of product on my finger and rub the product on my lips (like you would gloss from a pot). It is a similar consistency to lotion, so it smooths over the lips easily. Don't use too much since you can't put extra back in the container. I use a 1/2 pump from the dispenser.

It has a small pump and you pump out the smallest little drop, but it covers the lips and the skin around your lips to moisturize and exfoliate over night. Don't use it during the day, lipstick or even gloss won't work right. This small bottle will last a long time, remember just a small, little drop is all that you need.

It doesn't really do much for brown pigment spots, it's not meant to, but, the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Corrector does help with those sun pigment spots. Hope this helps

I am not an expert but I don't think this will help. You should get a whitening product for that. This is just for moisturizing and protecting your lips from future damage. I don't htink it will erase existing spots. I use "Neostrata Brightening Cream SPF 15" and it is actually helping a lot with the sun spots (prescribed to me by my Derm) Hope this helps.

I didn't use it for pigmentation so I don't know for sure.. but I have a feeling that it is more for hydration/ moisturizing..

answer 6
I would say no. This is essentially lotion for the lips, not really to be used on other parts of the face. Since it is lotion-like, I have not noticed any sort of color reduction; it mostly moisturizers. There are no properties in the product which would lighten or even out hyperpigmentation.

answer 7
It hasn't improved my hyperpigmentation around the lips, but I'm a newcomer to the product. I've found that only prescription creams truly address hyperpigmentation; all the retail products like this one don't pack the necessary punch.

I'm not sure but it does exfoliate, so maybe. It certainly worth a try because even if it doesn't take away the brown spots it will condition your lips very nicely.

This will not help with sun spots. I have two dark brown spots on my upper lip and have tried everything to get rid of them. So far, the only thing I've found that helps is wearing a high SPF sunscreen everyday. I use Neutrogena Face Shield in SPF 70 and have seen the brown spots fade away.

I can't speak for anyone else, but it certainly did with mine! I have wrinkly lips naturally and lipstick always smudges and feathers on me, however lightly using this product before applying lipstick really did keep the color in place.

Unfortunately, Clinique is secretive about its ingredients. I notice that there is no ingredient list on the website nor on the product itself. There probably was on the fine print insert, which I can't read.
