Coverage and color choice?

I have pretty fair skin, but not completely.. it's somewhat neutral and doesn't stand out as FAIR when you see me. I have a pretty red skine tone and I can't find a reasonably priced powder makeup that does the job. I'm really considering this one and would like to know just how well of coverage it has.. uneven skintone? redness? freckles? The ratings seem really really good and that's encouraging, but I'd like to truly know. I have hazel green eyes and strawberry blonde/ BLONDE hair. And I'd also like to know my color choice.. I usually get powder's second to the lightest and they come out too light. Any reccomendations?

I have medium-fair skin with light hair & green eyes. Medium works great for me during the summer because I always have a nice light base tan & I get tons of freckles. I would definitely go a shade slightly darker than your normal coloring. It's still light enough of a color to match my neck personally & I never have a make up line. Don't let full coverage fool you. It's not heavy by any means, but it does even out your overall skin tone. I love this product & would definitely recommend it!

I would go for Matte Bisque or Matte Ivory... if you are really concerned stop by a Clinique desk and look and try the samples there. The good thing about Clinique makeup is that it has neutral tones and the powder is VERY forgiving as long as it is not an extreme difference. My daughter has an olive undertone and I have a yellow undertone, but we both are fair and use the Matte Neutral which is great for summertime to go along with a little suntan.

I would suggest Honey because my skin tone sounds to be about the same as yours. I used to be very olive when I was younger, but my skin has really lightened since then. I always have a problem with makeups making my skin look orange, but this color has done my skin tone justice. I am also a brunette with brown eyes, and I really like Honey. If you have a chance to try it at a store before purchasing it, I would suggest taking it for a test drive first, so to speak. Best of luck!

No, but if you have some oily spots with a normal to dry face then this is not for you. I tried it and my acne/ oily spots showed up after using the foundation. I recommend trying it in store so you know just how it's going to turn out.

I don't know what minerals are used in this product but I do find that this product makes my skin oily. I don't think it would be good if you're skin breaks out easily

I have light to lt.med. combination skin with reddish tone and tend toward oily in the afternoon. I am in my mid-40's so I do have concerns about over-drying my skin while not looking oily.
