Would this soothe legs after shaving?

I live in Louisiana.. our weather is somewhat erratic so the itch when my legs are dry is horrible! Not to mention after shaving, I normally use Dove Cream Body Lotion but it doesn't always work unless I put twice as much on...slathering it which I hate to do bc it takes forever for it to soak in.
I'm wondering if it burns when you put it on your legs right after shaving? As sometimes a lightly scented lotion would do.

I have the same problem: itchy, sensitive skin, especially after shaving. I haven't had any problems with stinging with the body butter and I really feel the moisture. Hope this helps!

At least for me....It did not burn when applied to freshly shaved legs(even when they were a bit sunburned). This product is SUPER thick without feeling oily which I do not like, so you end up not using the amount that you would use with a traditional lotion. It absorbs quickly too. I really suffer with itchy, dry skin and this really does sooth my skin. Hope that is helpful. G

i have had that same problem! I hate to not use sephora products on this one.. but!! Eucerin makes this excellent body oil which is great for shaving!! and my legs look silky when done.. make sure you also have a good razor!!

I always apply it after shaving my legs in the shower.It doesnt burn at all. It feels soothing and comforting like the name implies.your skin soaks it up like a sponge and youre left with a soft and beautiful sheen thats not greasy and just looks healthy.
