I'm in my mid-20's, and I have been using this cream for about a year. I have oily-combination skin, and I do tend to break out. I know this cream is advertised for aging dry skin, but I love it! The trick for me is to use it at night, and to use a small amount, warm it up between my hands and then smooth it over the face and neck.

This cream keeps my skin from becoming irritated after using acne treatments, does not make me feel oily, and has not caused any breakouts. It just keeps my skin healthy and gives me a great glow. I even smooth it around my eyes and over lips! It keeps acne flare ups from becoming dry and crusty, and even keeps my fair skin from peeling after a sunburn.

My mother also uses this cream. It helps alleviate her roscacia, as well as the tiny white bumps she gets under her eyes. She also feels it has helped reduce fine lines and wrinkles. We are thirty years apart in age, with very different skin issues and concerns. This cream works wonders for us both.

It really is a great product. Anyone who wants to improve the overall health of thier skin should try it. You can always bring it back for a full refund.

Hi

I also agree. This is a very heavy intensive cream suitable probably for more mature skin.

Hope this helps.

Question
Can you use repairwear night cream with Vitamin A Acid (prescription)
I use vitamin A acid (prescription). Can you use Repairwear night cream as a moisturizer on top of the prescription. After cleansing, I would apply my prescription. Wait 20 to 30 minutes and then apply a moisturizer.

Hi,

Please do NOT ever ask reviewers for medical advice as they're not medically trained. Acne is a medical condition. Mixing certain products may be contraindicated. Only your doctor can answer specific questions like that, since he or she knows your specific skin condition and might have specific feelings on certain products or ingredients. Reviewers are too willing to give medical advice when they have no medical background to do so. While I do have a medical background, I am not in any position to give any medical advice to you.

Please note that while some doctors feel one thing about certain products, others differ in opinions. Everything depends on your doctor and your specific condition and issues in addition to products you might already be using.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

The best thing you can do is go to a Sephora and get a free consultation. The consultants are trained to deal with each individual situation, each person's skin tones, eye colors, and hair colors, and can recommend the very best products and shades from a wide range of manufacturers. When you ask a question on these boards, sometimes people who have no experience with any products give advice that really isn't appropriate or in some cases, could cause damage and even injury. (No offense to anyone intended). It's all a matter of perspective, I guess, which is why the Sephora consultants can give you the very best answers about products. If you're not near a Sephora, you can also get best advice by calling the toll free line at 877-SEPHORA.

Hope this helps

I use some of the redness products as well for rosacea. The Clinique Repairwear Intensive Night Cream is the first product for my face I have ever purchased more than once. I am 50-years of age and find the cream does not irritate my face and provides great moisture benefits.

If your skin is severely pocked - 'holes or dimples' in your skin from acne - honestly there isn't any specific 'over the counter' product that can truly fix or fill in the pocks other than seeing a dermatologist for a rather intensive repair procedure.

However if you are looking to lessen the appearances of acne scars that have left the pigment of your skin darker in those areas, if you have combo to oily skin, and are looking for a Clinique product I would recommend using Even Better Skin Tone Correcting line or the Turnaround line of products.

I personally have had wonderful success with the Turnaround line; Turnaround Concentrate and Turnaround Radiance Peel Once-A-Week. I had Melasma (mask of pregnancy) and old darkened acne scars that have vanished using these two products in my daily skin care routine. It has also helped reduced the appearance of fine lines and pores. These products may also help reduce the appearance of acne pocked skin, but not eliminate it.

I do use the Repairwear Night Cream at night as an added benefit and have had wonderful results, but again it will not 'fill in' acne pocked skin.

Any acids in this product?
Can anyone tell me if this product has any type of acid, or anything in it to help exfoliate the skin? I'm super-sensitive and cannot use anything with this in it. I'm just looking for a good night cream for help with retaining moisture - no anti-aging products. Thanks!
