the glass file is probably 2/8" thick or one. maybe 1/8" thick; around

No, it is not razor thin but glides under the side and edge of your nail with ease. It is only one sided but I don't find that a problem.

Wash it periodically, and keep it in the sleeve. It's glass, so it's obvious that we should try to keep it from failling onto hard surfaces!

I returned mine, but I think it's between 1/8" and 1/16" but closer to 1/8" in thickness.

THE FILE IS VERY FRAGILE, EVEN WITH A COVER THE FILE IS ONLY USABLE ON ONE SIDE..
