the smell is perfect, not overwhelming. It doesnt give you head ache , not strong. It is absolutely wonderful for someone who likes to smell fresh and clean.

It's fresh and clean, nice and fruity a light smell, the only problem is it doesn't last as long as you would want it to. other than that it's great.

I consider the smell of Dior Addict 2 to be clean. It does not have the typical clean scent associated with water or ocean type scents. It is more of a flowery, citrus scent clean scent (if that makes sense). It may be easiest to smell the perfume for yourself in person and/or try it on since the scent will be different on each person.

I definitely do not think this is an overpowering smell at all. In fact, I think it fades a little quickly.

I suppose it's a matter of opinion as to what a clean smell is, but I classify it as such. I only like the clean smells during the summer months (example: light blue, polo sport, curve)

I love my Dior Addict Shine and it is my signature fragrance, but I like to mix it up a little bit sometimes. Has anyone tried both? And can you tell me your opinion on both compared to one another?

It does smell similar, but the shine has a slightly more citrus smell to it,more summery..This is sweeter.That's how i would put it.

Not really. If you are afraid to buy this because you already have Shine...don't be! I own them both now and they are completely different yet but completely wonderful and delicious smelling!
