I love this product when used with secret concealer and the brightening powder. It is the only way I've been able to hide my dark circles and sunken undereye area.

I tried it to cover my under eye circles and to brighten my eye area overall. I applied it the same way the Sephora associate demonstrated, but it just didn't do the trick for me. It made my under eye area super shiny and shimmery and it didn't conceal my dark circles very well. I ended up returning the product. LM's secret brightening powder is awesome though. I would try that out for sure!

I use this powder after the brightener stick and works beutifully. The powder helps to tone down the shimmer of the secret brightener stick when hiding those circles under the eye. I don't use for circles without this powder......(and I did try, but found the combo to be fantastic.)

You can just apply it under your eyes if you want but in reality its also meant to be used as a highlighter. That means you should apply it on your cheek bone, down the front of your nose, on your cupids bow, under your brow bone, and on the inner-corners of your eyes.

Dab or brush a small amount under your eye. Blend up and out toward the corners of your eyes. Be sure to get into the inner corer since that is where you will see the biggest difference.

No -- I think it would irritate your eyes. I think you need more of a pencil. Benefit has some good ones that I think you might like (sorry - don't remember the name)

Fair to average skin color - go with the light. It is a luminary so you would want to stick with something lighter than your normal foundation.

It can be applied lightly around the eye, around lips and laugh-lines and then blended with a fingertip. Use a light hand and blend, blend, blend - less is more

The best way to apply it is just to use your fingers, then you can apply it on your cheek bones, under your brow bone, in the corner of your eyes down the front of your nose and on your cupids bow.

You can put this as a highlight right below and above your brow, the top of your cheekbones, and your cupids bow. If you have dry skin you can always right down your nose too.

Question
Re: Laura Mercier product for cheekbones
I was in your Lynnhaven Store today at Va. Beach. The salesperson was out of #25 concealer for around my eyes - that was OK, I said I'd come back. Then she put on a product over my cheekbone that she said was a bright luminizer and it was in a little round container. I can't seem to find it on your website.

Different color available??
A friend of mine had this product but it was silverish while this one is pink. Does anyone know if this is available in a silver tone? perhaps not at sephora. LM site has # 2 available, but I cannot tell if its silver.

mebbe you're thinking LM's 'secret finish', which comes in a tube like foundation, that you are sposed to pat on top of foundation for "magically restored radiance"....I was looking for it & don't see it; mebbe discontinued?

No- this actually isn't concealer. The Secret Brightener is more like a highlighter (similar to Benefit's High Beam) that you can use to under your eyes and blend in (particularly with a soft brush) to soften the skin there. You can also use this on your cheekbone, nose and cupid's bow to highlight.

While the description may be a bit misleading, you should NOT use this on top of blemishes- such as acne.

Question
The Secret Brightener is out of stock. What else can I use?
I am sure the applicator to this product isn't working because I ran out of it after only approximately 6 applications. I'm willing to try it again, but in case you don't get it for a while, what other products work similarly?
