Is this lip balm wider than most chapsticks?
The balm looks huge in the picture. Is that an illusion? Or is the balm wider than a standard tube (i.e. Chapstick or Burt's Bees size)?

Yes, it is much wider than normal lip balm. It's about 20-30% larger than a chapstick tube.

It's not "huge" but yes it is slightly larger than most products. The packaging is bigger than the product.

The container is a little bigger than a typically chapstick/burt's bee's container. The balm itself is about the same size. The balm lifts out of the container kind of like lipstick.
It smells great and feels great too. I don't use it all the time. I also use chapstick and burt's bees, but when I do use this balm it feels like a treat.

It is bigger than chapstick, but I wouldn't call it huge. maybe 2xs as wide as a chapstick

Not so much. It might be little wider, but mostly it's the package. The plastic package itself is big.

It's pretty much, chapstick sized, but a little wider. They just blew it up for a more noticing advertisment.

The actual product, the balm is the same size Burt's Bees or Chapstick--its the packaging that makes the product look bigger. Its packaged a lot like your lipstick.

Yes, the tube is bigger than a normal tube - picture is not an illusion. I, however, do not recommend this product at all. I found it to be waxy and it did not soften my lips at all.

it's bigger than a burt's bees. It's a little bigger than a lipstick, but not as large as the Fresh Sugar Moisture treatment

I think the taste is a mix of shea butter and vanilla, mostly vanilla. The taste is my favorite thing about this balm.

It doesn't taste great but it has a great smell! Smells like coconut oil :) so if you like to eat your lip balm--I guess this wouldn't be a product for you.

It doesn't really have a taste. It might have a hint of a vanilla flavor but really it just tastes like a plain lip balm.

had reaction to Philosophy lip gloss, lips were pretty badly chaffed. I stopped using it, bought Sephora lip gloss, my lips are still very dry mostly
mostly on the bottom lip. I used Aquaphor, chapstick, blistex,carmex
and still no relief. what is happening to me? What will make them better. I cannot stand to have bare lips please help

It sounds like we had the same issues and tried the same products. I was in the hospital and had surgery and my lips were so torn up. This L'Occitane Shea Butter Lip Balm Stick is the only thing that has helped repair my lips. They look normal now after only 2 weeks!

my lips are always dry too. ive also used all the otc products and i like this one alot i dont think it has sunscreen which is good for me because that seems to dry mine out more.

Try Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick. It's all we use at my house, and we never have to worry during the winter. You can get it at a pharmacy for around $3. Best stuff I've ever found.
