Be careful with getting a sample from this in store. Unless they have a little factory sample on hand, they will take some from the tester and put it in a little container for you. Most eye creams come in a dispenser-type container, so there's no issue, but this one comes in a little tub, and you don't know who else has stuck their fingers in there.

I first tried Dermadoctor wrinkle revenge as a sample. Go in a Sephora store and ask for a sample. The sample is very generous and you'll get 4 to 5 days use (morning/evening).

If you live close to a Sephora store you can go in and get a sample.

Don't forget about Sephora's money back guarantee. Yeah... it is quite a bit of money to spend, but if you don't like it you can return it for a full refund (within 30 days of purchase). Give it at least 3 weeks before making up your mind on it. Most anti-aging products need at least 3-4 weeks before you notice any changes or improvements.

Hope this helped. :)

So this product is $48 not $70 if that helps you out any. But if your not convinced by the reviews just go to the store and ask them to make you a sample. Thats one of the great things about shopping at Sephora... if your unsure of a product they will MAKE sample for you on the spot.

I have found the store associates are always willing to give a sample of any skin care product. Plus, if you try something and it doesn't work, they have a generous return policy (within reason!). Just be sure to keep your receipt. Not sure if this applies to Web purchases.

The purchase price was $48 not $70. I didn't start with a sample. I purchased the product after consulting with a Sephora associate about what I wanted out of an eye cream. I have gotten samples from Sephora in the past for other products. I was given a small container of a primer from a tester. It lasted about a week.

I use it in the AM and PM. It is moisturizing and so much more. My skin is on the oily side and I live in a hot climate so I am not looking for anything super moisturizing or greasy. I am able to apply concealer and eye makeup shortly after using this eye cream. Be sure to give it a few minutes before applying anything over it. Also, a little goes a long way!

I used Hope In A Tube prior to Wrinkle Revenge - I found that while similarly moisturizing, the effects of Wrinkle Revenge were long lasting, while with Hope, it was more of a "fix it now". With Hope, I woke up every day seeing the wrinkles and dryness until I used Hope. With Wrinkle Revenge, I see a marked improvement in my skin even first thing in the morning. I definitely think it's worth the price!

I, too, used Eye Hope and also Eye Believe (I'm a Philosophy Girl) but found DERMAdoctor Wrinkle Revenge eye balm to be just as hydrating BUT much longer lasting. It's really a great product. I'm still loving my Philosophy and will apply it sometimes during the day (very thin layer) if I'm feeling a little dry, but when I run out of Philosophy will just stick to DERMAdoctor.

It is richer and more hydrating, but the Eye Hope is better than this for dark circles. Unfortunately, drier skins with dark circles often need to layer 2 products to address each concern. My friend has this issue and swears by Eye Hope, with a layer of L'Occitane Shea Butter Eye Balm on top to seal in moisture. Give that a try!

Better than Eye Hope because of contact lense sensitivities. Wrinkle Revenge is thicker and doesn't run into my eyes.

Question
Does it help with puffiness?
The product addresses 3 issues: puffifness, dark cirlces, and wrinkles. Nothing helps circles, while many cheaper products reduce wrinkles. So the question is...does DD WR do anything for puffiness? (Women in early 20's probably will not see much improvement because these problems begin a little later in life.)

I'm not sure if I would call this balm soothing, though it is moisturizing. If you're looking for something cooling, this isn't it. Yet, if your eyes are exhausted (mine are), it really helps in decreasing puffiness and that tired look. You know the look I'm talking about.

I haven't used an eye cream long, but I have started using Ren 7 eye gel every morning and afternoon for a couple of weeks and it is FABULOUS for under eye circles and bags. I use an eye cream too but the Ren 7 (that I have to order online b/c my sephora stopped stocking that line) is perfect for that and I never forget to use it. Their glycolic mask is amazing also. I'm looking forward to trying more of that line. Just wish my store carried it so I could sample.
