I have had mine filled for free. I find it is also a great way to try a new scent without the initial investment. If you decide you don't like the fragrance dump it out and start over!

I filled the atomizer myself; it was easy. Just insert the funnel and spray directly into it. It is time consuming, but it'll be done before you know it. Also, stop spraying 1-2 cm from the top. If you fill it to the top some will spill out when you screw in the top. It happened to me!

No, they won't fill them up for free, or at all. Not in their policy. What you can do is ask for a same of a fragrance, and they will make a small sample in a little clear automizer, and I suppose if you collect a few, you could fil up the silver one.

Sounds dumb, but if you can't screw the lid off your fancy perfume (why they make this impossible is beyond me), you literally just spray it from your perfume bottle it into this little bottle. It's a tad time-consuming, but this atomizer is very small so it only took a couple of minutes to fill it up (probably 30 sprays?).

A small funnel is included with the atomizer. You spray your perfume into it and it drains down into the base to hold the perfume. After you fill it just screw the spray top back on and put it back into the metal case and you're ready to use it.

When you pull it apart, the sprayer screws into a small glass canister. Over a sink, I hold the funnel in the mouth of the glass canister and spray into the funnel. Its a little tricky the first time to spray into the funnel without wasting perfume and holding both bottles upright!

the key (that I didn't pick up on right away) is that you need to open the atomizer at the MIDDLE for easy refill. Don't just pop off the very top - unscrew it (like a pen) from the middle and then use the funnel to spray in your fragrance. Honestly, you don't even really need the funnel - you could spray directly into the container and it would work fine.

I wasn't sure how to get my perfume into it, and ended up just holding my spray bottle right up to this one and spraying it in. If you buy eau de parfum, this makes it easier to apply because you can spray instead of dab, and it's the right size for airport security. If you already have the fragrance in a mini spray, you don't need this :)

Some perfume brands don't come in "purse sizes." If you're like me and dedicated to a particular scent, this atomizer makes it very handy to take some along without lugging a heavy, odd-shaped glass bottle around in the purse (or to travel).

The atomizer allows you to just buy a big bottle of your favorite scent and then refill the atomizer from it versus spending twice as much on a mini-roller ball or purse size spray which is already filled. The atomizer fulfills the size requirements for 3oz or less liquids in carry on bags. If you already purchase a mini-spray of your favorite scents you really wouldn't need to buy an atomizer. They do save money though so you might want to try it in the future. :)

You would use this if you had a bottle of perfume and you wanted to take some with you on the go to renew your scent throughout the day. Just pour a little into the atomizer and voila. If you already have a purse size spray of your perfume you would not need this. And, generally airlines have a maximum level of liquids allowed (like say an ounce, for example) so you could put the amount allowed in this and shoud be able to travel with it.

My intension for this product was to pour the last of my favorite perfume into it for traveling purposes. It is a great size, holding exactly 3 ounces of fluid. I usually just carry my perfume with me when I travel, and if the perfume is too big for my carry-on, I choose a different perfume. The atomizer is good because it allows you to carry your favorite scent with you without the huge bottle. I got one when my new favorite perfume came in a bottle bigger than (for example) an iPhone. (I don't have an iPhone, but you can picture the size of the bottle now.) That bottle is too big to go in my purse, but I LOVE the scent; so I got the atomizer, put some inside, and viola! I'm good to go. :)

This is essentially a pretty, little, refillable spray bottle. Instead of purchasing travel sized, you can make your own with any fragrance, so its more economical and you're not limited to perfumes that come in travel sized. I change perfumes often, and this is perfect--I rinse it with water and let it dry completely before I refill it. I don't know if it has the capacity printed on it, but it can be carried on in the plastic bag, and I haven't been stopped.

well the part that holds the fragrance is glass - I would rinse it and then pop it in the dishwasher (top shelf, slide it onto one of the 'prongs'. But I'd remove before the dry cycle and allow to air dry just in case it's too fragile for the heat.
If you don't have a dishwasher - or don't want to try that, then vinegar should work - then rinse well with water afterwards

Rubbing alcohol. Put some in a bowl if you need to get actual oil out of the glass part. Maybe with a drop or two of dish washing liquid to cut through the oil. Use a paper towel and twist it until it fits into the bottle so you can wipe the inside too. If it's just regular perfume that was in there, just cleaning it with rubbing alcohol will be fine.

I would imagine you could take apart the spray top and base, soak each in a solution of hot water with vinegar, rinse well and then maybe soak each again with a mild cleaner. Also spray hot water with the vinegar and cleanser through the spray top to 'clear' it. If this doesn't neutralize the scent enough to your liking I would just purchase another atomizer as they are pretty inexpensive. Hope this helps!

I have tried every cleaning method that I know of - nothing works to remove the original fragrance from the bottle. I would suggest purchasing an atomizer for each fragrance that you own. Tried soap, bleach, baking soda, lemon juice. If you try to reuse the atomizer with a different perfume, it will ruin the fragrance. Just stick with one fragrance.
