Use a separating comb to clean between the bristlesand remove hair. If it's getting gunk stuck on it, fill up your sink with warm water so that you can sumerge the brush then add an alka seltzer pill, the fizz will clean it right up

Need a little more direction on cleaning, please!

I appreciate the Q/A response about using a separating comb to clean the brush, but what is a separating comb? (What does it look like, or where do I find one, how do I use it with this?) Also, I haven't tried the alka seltzer tab for cleaning, but does water get trapped under the base when you do that? I just don't want to be too rough with this brush because I notice the "pins" seem to get easily bent if I try to clean it with my fingers. But I LOVE this brush! Just need a little more guidance on cleaning.
