This particular towel makes it faster to dry hair with a hair dryer as it doesn't take as long. The towel goes into my regular wash and I do not use a softener in my dryer. I love this towel!!!

YES!!! YES!!! Once you have one, you'll miss it when you're not at home to use it. It's not big and fluffy like your bath towel.
Don't be surprised when you see it. Use it and you'll keep using it. I even bought them as gifts.

Yes, it has cut down my hair drying time. I use my regular towel on my hair right out of the shower, then use this to absorb more water, then wrap it around my hair while I put on my clothes and moisturize my face. It definitely reduced the time I need to use my blow dryer.

Microfiber towels work really well for me! I use mine every day at home, and when I don't bring it when I travel, I really miss it. It is super absorbent, very light, and gentle on my hair. It packs up really small for travel and dries really quickly. Best of all, my hair dries in about half the time it takes with regular towels because it isn't dripping wet.

For me, it is absolutely worth the price to get back that precious time in the morning!

Are these big enough to wrap around your head, turban-style, if your hair is about shoulder-length?

It could be bigger. My hair is chin-length and it works for me but with longer hair it could be difficult.

yes, this towel is definitely big enough to cover all your hair if wrapped turban-style around wet hair. My hair is to my mid-back and I can do it so I imagine you can too!

I believe so. If not, it doesn't matter, as it gets so much more water out of your hair,

It's "just" big enough. It won't stay wrapped as you get dressed, but it's okay. Next time, I will probably try the actual turban one.

answer 5
Yup. I have shoulder length hair (a bit longer, actually) and it's no problem at all to wrap it. The towel is wide and long enough that I'm sure it could manage even mid-back length hair.

Yes. I have medium thick long hair that comes down below my bra strap and I can wrap my hair turban style with this towel.

YES! My hair is longer than my shoulders and I wear it turban-style all the time. Sometimes it gets loose but I just tuck the tip under where the towel hits the back of my neck and I'm good!

In Chicago, they told me they weren't carrying them anymore, which was really disappointing. But I found them at my local Sephora in Toronto, Canada.
It may be an individual store thing...

They are still for sale at Sephora.com, though.

I've seen these in a few Sephora stores, but not all of them. So they either only carry them in some stores, or some stores were out. Try calling your local store, they should be able to tell you for sure.

I just wash it with my regular towels. I use softener. I never thought about not using it. I've had mine a long time and it still works. As a matter of fact, I have 2.

Yes. The towel is machine washable and does have a tag with the universal laundry symbols on it. Personally, I have no idea what those symbols mean until I find a darn laundry chart and look them up each time (sigh!). But this is a microfiber cloth so I am familiar with its care: wash in cold water, air dry. Avoid washing in hot water, bleach, fabric softners or putting through the dryer, as each (and all) of those actions somehow interfere or decrease the properties of the microfiber. Good luck and enjoy your towel - I love mine, don't know how I lived without it.

answer 4
The towel is machine washable, and then hang to dry. It will dry *really* fast. I just toss it over the shower rod after washing.

Like any towel, don't use fabric softener, liquid or dryer sheets. They will "clog" the fibers so they can't absorb water. This is especially true for microfiber towels.

Hope that helps!

I ALWAYS WASH MINE IN HOT WATER AND NEVER WITH FABRIC SOFTNER BECAUSE WHEN YOU USE IT, THE TOWEL CAN NOT ABSORB THE AMOUNT OF WATER IT NEEDS TO, WHEN YOU DRY IT DO NOT USE A DRYER SHEET I JUST HAVE MINE ON A HANGER AND LET IT AIR DRY THATS THE BEST WAY TO PRESERVE THE TOWEL

I just wash it with my regular laundry, and it has held up fine. I've had it for 8 years now and it's still in great shape, though i do notice that I have to wash it more often now or it starts to smell. But that may have more to do with the kind of water I have now too.

If you're looking for something that will stay put, go with the turban. I have unremarkable not-quite shoulder length hair and even have trouble keeping it tucked together. I've never used the turban thing, so I can't remark on drying comparisons.

I own both. I feel they have different uses. The turban is definitely best if you want your hair up and away from your face while it dries. It will not fall off ( seriously, I don't think it 's possible. It loops around a button).
However, I have a lot of hair, and it can take a long time to dry, especially when it's kept wrapped up. When I'm short on time, I use the towel to rough dry it. It absorbs enough water that I can then let it air dry or blow it dry if I'm going to touch it up with an iron.
If you must choose one, I'd buy the turban just because nothing else stays put like it does. Even if it were 10 x more $ than the towel it would be worth it. If you can, get both.
