If you are looking for something a little bit more "classic" then go with Cordura! It is a beautiful medium sparkly brown and a darker brown (both of which are pigmented well and last long.) They look perfect on hazel eyes. If you are looking for something "adventurous" try "Misfit." It is a creamy white and a teal color. It stays on sooo long and will really highlight your hazel eyes!

I recently bought this because another reviewer recommended it - thank you by the way - and I really like it. I am fair w/ peach-pink undertones, and green/brown hazel eyes and these colors work well for me. The "sienna" color is an golden orange while the "gothic plum" side is a plum with gold undertones also. These work well together and can be applied lighter or darker for a more intense look.

I have dark brown eyes, brown-black hair and light to medium skin, and I tan easily. I have Cheyenne and absolutely love it whether I am tan or on the pale side. Sometimes I use the lighter shade over the whole eye and the darker in the crease, or the darker on the lid and lighter on top. Always works, and I get compliments on it.

I have hazel eyes with a lot of green in them. I use Nars duo eyeshadow in "Habenera". The shimmering charcoal plum in the duo is beautiful on hazel eyes. You can also use the product as an eyeliner for the top, and bottom of the eye smudge it for a smoky effect. It will bring out the green in the eye. It is a sheer color so you can use it for the day also.

I think it depends on your skin tone. Purple can really make hazel eyes pop green, as long as you use concealer if necessary to hide any dark circles. Otherwise you'd get a 360 purple effect, which is less flattering.

nars duo eye shadow
Where would you put the apricot color if you wear both shades at the same time. This looks like an odd combination to me, but interesting.

If you are talking about the Scorching Sun duo, then I would use the apricot on the lid (with a lighter highlight color beneath the brow) and the orange color in the crease. You could even blend the apricot with the highlight color to create a light apricot as a highlight. The apricot seems too dark in my opinion to use from lid all the way to up to the brow by itself, though. But, hey, you never know!

Another thing I like to do is to use the lighter color (eg the Apricot) on the lid and crease and then just use the orange color on the outside edge of the lid and crease, so that rather than layering the colors horizontally they are instead separated vertically. Hope that makes sense to you!

Alahambra! The picture and decription don't do this duo justice. I have similar coloring, and this is my go-to shadow combination. However, I think (like the blush in Orgasm), this combination is probably universally flattering.

Madrague would be my pick-- They describe it as cream+caramel but it's like that but better. Looks fantastic on olive skintones with peachy blush and defining mascara :) Also, Bellissima: shimmery cream+gray-brown.

if you have fair skin with pink undertones stay away from the key largo, it will just make you look pinker. try something with a more neutral tone with a yellow tone under it as opposed to a pink tone

Portobello is my favorite NARS duo, and I have similar coloring. I like it because you can make it as light or as dark as you want it to be without spending hours on it. So, no, it's not too dark. :)

I have the same light skin and greenish eyes. You can use a light hand with the dark shade and blend and smooth with the light gray. I love this duo. I darken it in the crease for evening.

I have green eyes and have it in Charade and love it! Mostly a daytime look though, in my opinion, as it gives a lighter, softer color (however, a good, saturated color). I think all the mauves, burgandies, and plum colors look great on green eyes. I get compliments every time I wear those colors!

I rarely use brushes. I feel I can get better control of the application and blending if I use my fingertips. Start with the base color on your middle or index finger. Blend to cover the lid. Then take the darker color for the outside corner using your pinky. Dot it at the outside corner. Then using your middle or index finger again, blend that dot of darker color in towards the middle. Repeat until you get the desired effect. I try not to go too far past the middle of my lid with the blended darker color, but it's up to you and what look you want to create. There are no rules, just keep playing and you'll find something you like! Hope this helps!

I think the best brush for the dark color to apply to the lid would be one that has a smaller brush span for more control, but still one big enough to cover the area in a few sweeps. The accent color needs a smaller brush, but Sephora offers an exclusive blending brush with soft bristles that I sweep across the entire eyelid to soften and blend the look.
